The David J. Hyman Lectureship

The David J. Hyman Lectureship honors Dr. David J. Hyman, who served as Chief of General Internal Medicine, growing the section from a dozen in the 1990s to more than 200 faculty and staff in his three decades of service at Baylor College of Medicine and Harris Health. He modeled academic excellence as a compassionate and brilliant clinician, an effective educator, an internationally renowned expert in hypertension and chronic disease management, and a selfless mentor while also demonstrating his love for and utmost dedication to family.
