Allergy and Immunology Fellowship

About Us

The Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine offers the following training options:

  • Two-year program in Allergy and Immunology (medicine track)
  • Three-year program in Allergy and Immunology (pediatric track)
  • Three-year dual fellowship program in Allergy and Immunology and Rheumatology (medicine track)
  • Four-year dual fellowship program in Allergy and Immunology and Rheumatology (pediatric track)

Tracks

Both tracks offer in-depth clinical experiences in allergic and asthmatic diseases, congenital and acquired immunodeficiencies, and systemic inflammatory and immunologic disorders. Successful completion of the program provides eligibility to take the certification exam for the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.

Allergic and Immunologic Disorders

The fellowship program is a two- or three-year, advanced postdoctoral program designed to prepare board-eligible physicians in developing expertise in diagnosing and treating allergic and immunologic disorders, including:

  • Anaphylaxis
  • Asthma
  • Autoinflammatory disorders
  • Autoimmune disease (organ specific and systemic)
  • Chronic rhinitis and sinusitis
  • Eczema
  • Food, drug and insect allergies
  • Immune deficiency (primary and secondary)
