Immunology Education

The Section of Immunology, Allergy and Rheumatology is committed to making the medical student elective an outstanding educational experience. The section provides an opportunity to experience inpatient, outpatient, and consultant services to Ben Taub Hospital, Texas Children's Hospital and Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Students are either assigned to these services or have the option of selecting their service rotation through the Clinical Immunology Elective Course (MED-571).

Graduate student experience in the Section of Immunology, Allergy and Rheumatology is one of education excellence. The section provides career direction, training and experience in basic and clinical research projects.

The Section of Immunology, Allergy and Rheumatology is dedicated to making the medical resident rotation an outstanding educational experience. The section provides training in inpatient, outpatient and consultant services to Ben Taub Hospital, Texas Children's Hospital and Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Residents are assigned to these services which offer a diverse patient population and experience.
