Texas Children's participates in the Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship National Residency Matching Program. Registration is required. Please refer to the website for further information regarding the requirements for the Match. In general, all fellows begin training on Aug. 1 of the year following the Match with some exceptions granted due to extenuating circumstances.
Typically, fellowship candidates are invited to Houston for a one-day interview with your expenses paid by the Department for an overnight hotel stay. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our priority is your health and safety, and at this time, we are planning virtual interviews for AY2021-2022.
Applicants must be on track to complete anesthesiology training at an accredited program and be eligible for board certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Additionally, certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained before the start of fellowship.
Questions regarding application status, please email Davelyn Smith at email@example.com.
