About the Center
Founded in 1982, the Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy at Baylor College of Medicine is one of the leading academic centers in the field of biomedical ethics and health policy. The center is dedicated to encouraging critical reflection on ethical and policy challenges in healthcare and biomedical research through our work in education, research, clinical ethics, and health policy. Notable programs include:
- Nationally recognized medical ethics education for undergraduate students, medical students, and residents, as well as continuing medical education.
