About the Core
The Administrative and Data Integration Core serves as a key conduit linking the program's three projects and two technical cores. The overarching hypothesis of this Program Project Grant is that aging and tauopathy induce lysosomal stress communicated through homeostatic lysosome-to nucleus coordination is crucial for maintaining cellular homeostasis and brain health during aging.
The Administrative and Data Integration Core provides administrative support and financial management for the program. The core is tasked with the responsibility of acting as the center of support and communication between the cores and projects as well as between Baylor College of Medicine and Washing University School of Medicine. The core promotes effective interaction and collaboration through regular meetings hosted by the scientific leadership and all project/core leaders and team members. The core also oversees the interaction of our SAB and is supported by administrative staff and data science specialists trained in grants management
The core performs multi-omics data analysis through a tiered analysis for all data that is produced by the cores and research projects. The core will present its findings on the projects through a public-facing online platform development of the Aging, Tauopathy, and Lysosomal atlas, ATLas.
Core Objectives
- Provide administrative support and financial management of the Program Project Grant
- Support cross-platform bioinformatics integration and sharing of multi-omic datasets generated by the cores and projects
- Facilitate interactions between the core and projects, as well as between Baylor College of Medicine and Washington University School of Medicine
- Provide overall scientific leadership of the Program Project Grant
