Neuromuscular Disease Center

Neuropathy Center

The mission of the Neuropathy Center is to provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for individuals with peripheral neuropathy. The center's focus not only includes patient care but also research, education, and community outreach. A major emphasis is in identifying the cause of each neuropathy to the extent possible.

Patients are offered and informed about the latest advances in the treatment of these conditions.

Our comprehensive services include diagnosis, treatment, education, and rehabilitative care. Patients are also provided with instructions and guidance to help effectively manage their conditions on a day to day basis. This may include information related to exercise programs, proper nutrition, pain management, orthotics and medical equipment. Close ties have been established with the Houston Neuropathy Support Group and the local Guillain-Barré/CIDP Support Group.
