Career Advancement Series 2026-2027
A peer mentoring program for early and mid-career faculty, presented by the Office of Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development.
This program is ideal for assistant and associate professors at Baylor College of Medicine who are seeking support with promotion, planning, mentoring, skill development and building a fulfilling academic career.
Location: Main Baylor College of Medicine
Format: Five sessions from October 2026 - April 2027 (two in-person and three virtual sessions). All sessions will be held from 4-6 p.m.

- Feb. 18, 2027 - Virtual
- April 22, 2027 - In person
Space is limited to 30 faculty members. Application deadline is by 5 p.m. on Sept. 30.
Application includes a statement of interest and a BCM CV.

This online resource covers faculty appointments and the process for faculty promotion at Baylor College of Medicine. The resource includes an overview of faculty tracks, pathways to promotion on those tracks, helpful resources, and links to FAP-related forms and materials.
