Who We Serve

All researchers across the BCM Department of Pediatrics and the Texas Children’s Hospital System.

Cost of Services

Every effort is made to assist all researchers who request assistance. Biostatistics support is currently partially underwritten by the Department of Pediatrics and Texas Children’s Hospital. We provide the following guidance on cost recovery for our services.

For grant proposal development: Support can be provided for the development of grant applications. We have an expectation that the proposal budget provide an adequate level of funding for statistical support during the funding period.

For funded research projects: All funded projects should provide cost recovery for statistical support services according to the available funding and level of effort.

For unfunded research projects (including trainee research projects): All unfunded research will be evaluated by the team for level of effort required and availability of staff to support the project.
