Grand Rounds is a formal educational opportunity for residents, faculty, private practice physicians and mid-level provider to remain current in evidence-based practice guidelines in OTO-HNS. The weekly virtual conference is held Wednesday mornings (7 - 8 a.m. CST) and required attendance for trainees.
Residents, Fellows and guest speakers present a wide-range of otolaryngology topics based on case presentations, historical research and current or evolving practice methods. An integral component of medical education, presentations at ground rounds give the trainee the opportunity to increase their fund of knowledge, improve presentation skills, and encourages them to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the care of their patients.
