The Underrepresented Biomedical Researcher (UBR) Faculty Summit will provide support to UBR researchers interested in using the NIH All of Us Research Platform. Applicants who are selected to attend the summit will be accepted into the All of Us UBR Scholars Program.

Applicants selected to attend the summit will form multidisciplinary research teams and will also be provided the following support:

  • Data science training (Python, R)
  • Access to the NIH All of Us Researcher Workbench
  • Multidisciplinary research project development
  • Professional development sessions: career guidance, mentoring, and responsible conduct of research
  • Networking and mentoring opportunities

How to Apply

Content

Researchers in diverse academic fields of study such as behavioral and social sciences, environmental health, health education, public health, and STEM are encouraged to apply. Prior programming experience is not required.

Applicants are asked to prepare two statements addressing: what they expect to gain from attending the summit and diversity, equity, and inclusion experience.

Applicant Eligibility:

  • Underrepresented Biomedical Researcher according to NOT-OD-20-031
  • Early-career faculty or senior postdoctoral fellows within one year of applying for a faculty position
  • Non-US citizen visa holders may apply with the consent of their sponsoring institution
