Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center is a joint venture hospital in the CHI St. Luke’s Health system. It is jointly operated and governed by Baylor and CHI St. Luke’s. The medical staff includes full-time Baylor faculty and community physicians.

Rotations at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center provide extensive opportunities to work within some highly regarded programs.

The Texas Heart Institute has consistently been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation's top 10 centers for cardiology and heart surgery since 1990. The hospital has the largest cardiac catheterization laboratory in the world with more than 10,000 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed each year. The Transplant Center, one of the largest in the world, has performed more than 1,000 heart transplantations since 1975.

Advanced treatment programs are available in orthopedics, oncology, urology, digestive disorders, and neurosciences. The St. Luke's Women's Center is recognized as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. Baylor College of Medicine trainees also gain experience within the internationally recognized liver transplant team.

Baylor College of Medicine physician assistant students conduct general surgery rotations at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and nurse anesthesia students gain experience in pediatric, neurosurgical, and outpatient anesthesia as well as other specialties at Baylor St. Luke’s.
