Professional Statement

Across the last several years, I developed research interests in genetic modifiers of rare diseases. Thousands of potentially important human variants remain unknown and many patients have no clear monogenic cause of disease. I aim to conduct research that improves the application of genomic technology in clinical genetic diagnostics and ultimately streamlines medical variant interpretation for diverse patient populations.
