Dr. Joseph Mills First American named Associate Editor of EJVES

Dr. Joseph L. Mills Sr., professor and chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy and the John W. “Jack” Reid, M.D., ’43 and Josephine L. Reid Endowed Professor of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, has been named associate editor of the Peripheral Arterial Occlusive Disease (PAOD) Section of the European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (EJVES).
Dr. Mills will serve in this position for a three-year term, beginning in May 2020. He is the first American to have been named an associate editor of the EJVES, which has one of the highest impact factors in the field.
The European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery is aimed primarily at vascular surgeons dealing with patients with arterial, venous and lymphatic diseases. Contributions are included on the diagnosis, investigation and management of these vascular disorders.
