Office of Academic Technology: Education Technology
BCM Academic Technologies centrally manages educational technologies available to all Baylor College of Medicine instructors, staff, and students. These enterprise-level technologies allow instructors to manage, share, and develop course materials and facilitate students and trainees learning through communication and collaboration technologies.
Center for Teaching and eLearning
The Center for Teaching and eLearning develops multimodal initiatives that support educational content delivery and assessment across various settings, including online, synchronous, and asynchronous modalities, hybrid or blended experiences, competency-based and face-to-face instruction. The center provides expertise in instructional design and technology, educational theory, and assessment to support the effectiveness of academic programs.
Academic Affairs and Health Systems Science
The Academic Affairs and Health Systems Science unit serves to advance the education mission by providing oversight for institutional SACSCOC accreditation, management of educational regulatory compliance and collaboration in cross-mission health systems science initiatives.
