Section of Endocrine Surgery

The Section of Endocrine Surgery consists of a multidisciplinary team specializing in endocrine disorders. With our progressive bench and clinical research, our surgeons and medical professionals work together to provide innovative treatments as well as other minimally invasive techniques.

We are also part of one of the best and largest General Surgery Residency programs in the nation, preparing our trainees to lead the field of surgery into the next generation. Additionally, our program offers a comprehensive Endocrine Surgery Fellowship, providing specialized training. This fellowship equips fellows with advanced surgical techniques and clinical expertise, fostering the development of future leaders in the field of endocrine surgery. 

The Section of Endocrine Surgery consists of a multidisciplinary team specializing in endocrine disorders. With our progressive bench and clinical research, our surgeons and medical professionals work together to provide innovative treatments, including transoral procedures, as well as other minimally invasive techniques such as microwave ablations of the thyroid and radiofrequency ablations. These advanced, less invasive surgical options, which avoid external incisions, offer patients faster recovery times and improved cosmetic outcomes. Additionally, our dedicated Thyroid and Parathyroid Center is focused on the comprehensive care of patients with thyroid and parathyroid conditions, offering expert diagnosis, management, and treatment. Our team is at the forefront of integrating these cutting-edge approaches to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
