We are delighted that you are interested in our Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship Program and encourage you to apply if you are a potential candidate.

Texas Children’s Hospital is a premier institution with world-class resources and physicians, and we welcome patients from Texas, the surrounding states and from across the globe.  As a result, we care for a group of ethnically diverse patients with a range of rheumatic diseases of varying complexity, from common to rare genetic disease. Our broad referral base, faculty expertise, and resources creates the ultimate learning environment in which fellows gain extensive and outstanding clinical experiences.

Career development and clinical training is highly individualized in our program. Training is driven by competency-based learning objectives and evaluation. A Scholarship Oversight Committee made up of mentors and other qualified faculty helps fellows meet career goals and successfully compete for junior faculty appointments in academic medicine. Competitive application for NIH T32 support is an option for fellows desiring to pursue careers as physician-scientists in basic and/or translational research. Clinical training occurs at our main campus located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center and in satellite clinics located throughout the community.

We aim to train fellows who value learning, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and excellence. We are committed to providing an unparalleled fellowship experience in a supportive environment. We welcome your inquiries and look forward to hearing from you.
