Annual Diabetes Symposium

17th Annual Diabetes Symposium

The 17th Annual Diabetes Symposium will be held virtually by Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center. The Diabetes Symposium is a one-day course designed to provide endocrinologists, primary care physicians, cardiologists, and associated professionals with updated information on novel and optimal therapies for the treatment of diabetes, including evidence-based intervention strategies, weight reduction strategies, new diabetes technologies and insulin formulations, and more.

The 2023 Symposium will be held in October of this year. Please check back later for the registration link.

Symposium Credit (CME)

ABIM MOC Credit
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 8.25 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity providers responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit. Successful completion is a passing grade of 70% on the assessment in the CME evaluation.

Approved Provider Unit (APU) statement
CHI St. Luke’s Health Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by Louisiana State Nurses Association Approver Unit, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. LSNA Provider No. 4002068.

CNE Designation: Up to 8.25 contact hours will be awarded for successful completion of this activity. To receive a Certificate of Completion with awarded contact hours, you are required to attend the virtual presentation for the entire program or partially for topics listed on the Agenda; complete and return/send the evaluation survey as instructed.
