We celebrated the White Coat Ceremony for first-year medical students on Friday, Aug. 21. The donning of the the white coat signifies a rite of passage into the medical profession.

The 70-plus year collaboration of Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital is stronger than ever, as evidenced by a new agreement signed Wednesday, Aug. 5. Dr. Jakub Tolar, president & CEO and executive dean of Baylor College of Medicine,. and Dr. Debra Sukin, president & CEO of Texas Children’s, have co-authored a column on this milestone.
