Protein and Monoclonal Antibody Production Core

Master
Heading

Free Consultation

Content

The core provides free consult on design of expression construct as well as protein, antigen and MAb production. Consultation service needs to be initialized in iLab.

Heading

Recombinant Protein Expression

Content

The core has large refrigerated shaking incubators and bioreactors to overexpress recombinant proteins of interest in E.coli, insect and mammalian systems.

Heading

Protein and MAb Purification

Content

The core implements chromatography techniques to purify proteins and MAbs produced in different expression systems. Quality control and biophysical characterization of purified proteins and MAbs can be performed, including endotoxin and nucleases testing, analytical gel filtration, and Thermofluor/DSF assays.

Heading

Hybridoma/Monoclonal Antibody Production

Content

The core can generate custom mouse monoclonal antibodies (MAbs), including those targeted to protein, synthetic peptide and subcellular fraction.

About the Core

Content

The protein and monoclonal antibody production core is a shared research resource to provide quality purified protein and monoclonal antibody.

These services includes the protein expression and purification in E.coli, insect and mammalian systems. The core also has had more than 20-year excellent experience in producing new monoclonal antibodies from mouse using intact protein, synthetic peptide and subcellular fraction as antigens.
