European Lacrosse Championships
Head AT for the Wales National Lacrosse Team during the 2016 European Lacrosse Championships. Wales finished 4th out of 24 competing nations and the best in the history of the organization.
Gave presentation to NATA Ethnic Diversity Advisory Council's Career Day Panel.
SWATA Professional Program: "A Functional Approach to Evaluation and Assessment of Pelvic and Lumbosacral Anatomy". A hands-on lab presentation giving instruction on simplifying this evaluation process for clinical practice.
SWATA Student Program: "I want to be an AT for the NFL". A presentation guiding students through pivotal decision-making moments in their career, networking, and professional development.

Professional Statement

Meghan McKay is an Athletic Trainer who is passionate about her profession and the impact it can have on patient safety, community education, patient education, and injury prevention. She has spent most of her career trying to further her own continuing education and encouraging those around her to do the same. She believes that all athletes no matter age, level in sport, or type of activity has the right to quality, evidence-based care and spends much of her personal and professional time educating those to advocate for themselves.
