Professional Statement
My research focuses on understanding function and modulation of ion channels and transporters. I obtained extensive trainings in electrophysiology and molecular biology from my Ph.D. projects and postdoctoral training. After I joined Dr. Zhou's lab, I have participated in projects of redox modulation of Kv1 channels and small-molecule modulators of Kv1 channels. I have also participated in functional characterization of several transporters, such as potassium ion transporter, urea transporter and bile acid transporter.Websites
