Professional Statement
Dr. Moran is a non-invasive cardiologist at Baylor Heart Clinic and trained in cardiology fellowship here at Baylor College of Medicine. As a general cardiologist, he sees a wide range of patients with cardiovascular disorders, though takes a long-term view and focuses on disease prevention. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he is very involved with education and helps train cardiology fellows, internal medicine residents and medical students. He also acts as the director of research for the cardiology fellowship program. In clinical care, though he sees a full spectrum of patients, he has a special interest in patients with pericardial disease and cancer patients some of whom are at risk for or may have already developed cardiovascular complications related to their cancer treatment.
