Professional Interests

  • Novel chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells for solid tumors
  • Correlates of immune response - CAR T cell clinical trials
  • Synthetic cell receptors for tumor immunotherapy

Professional Statement

I am a scientist trained in human immunology of prophylactic and therapeutic interventions. I conduct translational research with gene-modified T-cells for solid tumors in children and young adults. My focus is on development of synthetic receptor molecules including chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) and delineating immune responses in patients undergoing CAR T-cell therapy in clinical trials.
