I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and minor in Public Health. Through my undergraduate studies, I learned to appreciate how genetics and social determinants contribute to overall health and wellbeing.

After graduating in 2024, I worked with the Shulman Lab researching Alzheimer’s Disease in laboratory and clinical research through the Precision Medicine for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias project. Outside of research, I immersed myself in opportunities to learn from various communities, volunteering at Crisis Text Line, Gigi’s Playhouse and NBIA Disorders Association as a member of the Development Committee.

These experiences have shaped and prepared me for this next chapter of graduate school. As a member of the Baylor College of Medicine class of 2028, I am eager to expand my knowledge of genetics while continuing to build my skills in communication, advocacy, and empathy.
