Professional Statement
My journey in medicine has been defined not by privilege, but by purpose and perseverance. Born and raised in Mexico under challenging circumstances, I witnessed firsthand the disparities that underserved communities face in accessing quality healthcare. These early experiences instilled in me a profound sense of responsibility and a calling to serve with compassion, integrity, and resilience.
Through God’s grace, I was given the opportunity to continue my journey in Houston, where I have grown both personally and professionally. Each step along the way has been guided by faith and a steadfast determination to contribute meaningfully to the field of medicine.
