Professional Statement
Dr. Hess is a Pediatric Hospitalist and Assistant Director of Quality and Safety: Information Technology and Simulation. She acts as a physician informaticist through her many roles within information services including: membership of inpatient workgroup, eHealth advisory board, co-chair communication workgroup, co-chair Professional builder program and co-chairing the Clinical Technology Committee. Her primary clinical interests include early recognition and goal directed treatment of pediatric sepsis. Her primary research interest include application of technology in sepsis care along with simulation education. Her goal is to strive to utilize technology to improve the care of hospitalized children and women through smart implementation, collaborative, and education.Websites
