Professional Statement
In my federally-funded research projects, I use my expertise in epidemiology and background in antimicrobial stewardship to develop and test antimicrobial stewardship interventions. My goal is to improve antibiotic use and minimize the emergence of antimicrobial resistance, a growing global health threat that makes treatment of infections increasingly difficult. My academic role includes mentorship of postdoctoral fellows and students.
