Professional Statement

In the next 20 years, we will discover individualized therapies for neurodevelopmental disorders. This is the mission statement of my lab. We are using a spectrum of approaches to achieve this goal, from cell-based screens to mouse models of disease to neurons derived from in induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). My ultimate goal is to translate the findings from the lab back to the clinic to improve quality of life for children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
