Iris Zhuang, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at the UCLA Stein Eye Institute. She then pursued advanced training in glaucoma through a fellowship at Duke University.

Dr. Zhuang’s clinical interests include medical, laser, and surgical management of glaucoma in adults, as well as cataract surgery. She performs both minimally invasive and traditional incisional glaucoma procedures, offering the full spectrum of treatment options tailored to each patient’s individual needs. In addition to glaucoma care, she specializes in cataract surgery and offers advanced intraocular lens technologies, including toric and presbyopia-correcting lenses, to optimize visual outcomes for her patients. Dr. Zhuang's academic interests include resident and fellow education, as well as clinical research in glaucoma imaging and surgical outcomes.
