Professional Statement

As a dedicated physician and researcher with extensive experience in emergency medicine, I am passionate about advancing clinical practice through innovative research and collaboration. I am particularly interested in caring for behavioral health patients in the emergency department and developing predictive scoring systems that assess and anticipate their behavior during their ED stay. By leveraging machine learning and innovative AI technologies, I seek to enhance patient management and outcomes. My role as Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine has deepened my commitment to fostering a culture of inquiry and excellence in emergency medicine.
