Professional Statement
My research interest is focused on better understanding how GABAergic inhibitory interneurons shape circuit dynamics in healthy brains and in epilepsy. Our goal is to identify optimal targets for neuromodulatory intervention and develop cell type-specific strategies for inhibiting epilepsy.
