Statement
Adolescence, described as a time of change, from puberty to unwanted pregnancy, STDs, abortion, binge drinking, marijuana use, obesity and general unhappiness and simply trying to fit in. A complicated time, especially in today's America that I believe requires the utmost attention, especially from medical providers. My clinical interests are in sexual health, LGBTQ care, eating disorder and teen health advocacy.

Adolescent medicine sits at the intersection of the two main reasons I went into medicine: working with underserved populations and advocating for youth. My clinical interests are still very broad and include young men's health, gender care, adolescent mental health, and reproductive health.

Statement:
As a former high school and collegiate athlete, I understand how important sports can be to the physical and mental well-being of people of all ages. I am passionate about helping patients to continue to do what they love for as long as possible. Clinical interests include injury prevention, rehabilitation, and pain management.

Statement
Adolescents are young adults seeking to understand their place in the world in the context of complicated social circumstances. I relate to adolescents; even as adults, we are trying to understand our place in the world. My clinical interest is in sexual and reproductive health advocacy, adolescent mental health, and exploring ways to bring integrative medicine concepts (i.e. mindfulness, meditation) into my medical practice.

Statement:
Organized sports play a pivotal role in childhood development. Whether it be social, academic, or physical skill; sports provide significant benefits to this population. I wish to foster this development by preventing significant injuries and promoting continued engagement. My clinical interests include bedside ultrasound diagnostic applications, overuse injury, and the translation of sports medicine within global health.
