Professional Statement
I am a board certified neuro-oncologist at Baylor College of Medicine responsible for treating patients with brain tumors, brain metastases, and neurologic complications of cancer. I am a co-leader for the Dan L Duncan Cancer center Glioma working group and co-moderator of a biweekly brain tumor board. My research has been accepted for oral presentations at the Society of Neuro-Oncology, the American Academy of Neurology and the European Neurological Society. I have published retrospective studies, topic reviews, case series and reports in several prestigious journals including Neurology, Neuro-Oncology, Journal of Neuro-oncology, Current Oncology Reports, Journal of Neurological Sciences as well as a few book chapters. I am also responsible for the education of heme/onc fellows and neurology residents regarding neuro-oncology at Baylor.
