Professional Statement

My clinical goal is to provide the best care possible to women diagnosed with gynecologic malignancies while educating and mentoring students and residents about the complex surgeries and treatment of this specialized group of patients. I provide a variety of surgical options for patients, including minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery. Given my training in public health and population-based initiatives, my research interests include cancer prevention in women’s health as well as cancer survivorship and health outcomes research.
Most of my free time is spent with my husband, Shayan, and 3 young children. I also enjoy running, swimming, and traveling.
