On February 15, Dr. Victor M. Rivera, distinguished professor emeritus of neurology and founding director of the Maxine Mesinger MS Clinic at Baylor College of Medicine, was the co-guest of honor at the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the International Center for Neurological Restoration (CIREN by its Spanish acronym) in Havana, Cuba.
Dr. Rivera was recognized for his support to research and multiple sclerosis education in Cuba. He also received a special recognition from the patients MS Cuban Association.
