Have you, or someone you know, been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease within the past three years?
Houston Area Parkinson Society offers a quarterly educational program developed specifically for those who have been recently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. The four hour program is designed as a "Parkinson's 101" course for individuals who have been diagnosed within the past three years, their family members or friends who want to learn more about the disease.
The program is presented by a local neurologist and HAPS Medical Advisory Board member and the small group of 20-25 participants provides an intimate learning environment and allows plenty of time for questions and answers.
Registration Required
For more information contact the HAPS office at 713-626-7114 or info@hapsonline.org. The program is free of charge and includes breakfast, lunch and plenty of educational materials.
