The 2010 Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA) Dinner Gala was held at the Houston Country Club, honoring our own Christine Hunter (as well as Katie Plunkett and Cheryl Lenheiser). It was a splendid, festive, and most elegant event, with Kim and Jeb Bashaw as honorary chairs and Howard Lederer as the award presenter.
The gala not only honored the many community, patient care and research contributions by Christine, but also showcased our HDSA Center of Excellence. Please join me in congratulating Christine on this well-deserved honor. She has already received honors from the national HDSA and in January she will be also recognized for her contributions to the Texas Tourette Syndrome Association. We are indeed privileged to have Christine as a member of our team.
