The seventh annual symposium hosted by Baylor College of Medicine’s Cardiovascular Research Institute (CVRI) highlighted the innovative research being done in the field of cardiovascular research by faculty and trainees from across the Texas Medical Center. Out of the 84 abstracts that were submitted and reviewed this year, those with highest scores from four different categories (student, postdoctoral researcher, clinical fellow/resident, and junior faculty) were selected for platform presentations during the symposium.
