The Neuropsychology faculty members support Baylor College of Medicine by providing education and training opportunities to clinical and counseling psychology graduate-level and post-graduate level trainees. Clinical psychology practicum students, clinical psychology interns, and postdoctoral fellows receive supervised clinical experience including patient clinical interviews, neuropsychological assessment, and report writing.
The goal of each level of training is to prepare future clinicians with the clinical and professional skills for their careers providing quality patient care. The Neuropsychology section offers a General Adult Neuropsychology Fellowship and a Spanish/Cross Cultural Fellowship, both of which are consistent with APA Div. 40 and Houston Conference guidelines.
Students from University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas Children's Hospital, the University of Houston, Rice University, the Institute for Rehabilitation and Research, and the Baylor’s Department of Psychiatry have participated in neuropsychological training rotations.
