Normal Growth Charts

In order to use the graphing applet:

  • Select measurement unit and gender by clicking on the drop-down boxes.
  • Enter age (years) in the text box and hit ENTER.
  • Enter weight (kg or lbs) in the text box and hit ENTER.
  • Enter height (cm or in) in the text box and hit ENTER.

The calculated height and weight percentiles will appear in the fields on the right, and points are plotted on the graphs below. Be sure to press ENTER after typing age, weight, and/or height in order to update the form. Calculated values are updated immediately upon hitting ENTER (after typing in a value), and after clicking one of the buttons. Switching measurement units (English to metric, or vice versa) will automatically convert the units displayed in the weight and height fields.

Please note that the available age range is 2 - 20 years (refer to the graphs). If you enter an out-of-range age, your entry will be ignored and the calculated values will not be updated
