Professional Statement
Dr. Rohren is Chair of the Department of Radiology which is comprised of over 120 faculty members and spans multiple systems including CHI Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, Ben Taub Hospital and Harris Health System, the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, and Texas Children's Hospital.He has served on numerous boards and committees in the Nuclear Medicine field, including the SNMMI's PET Center of Excellence and the American College of Radiology's Commission on Nuclear Medicine. He was on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, serving as Chair of the Board from 2013-2014.
Dr. Rohren is a recognized expert in PET imaging (with over 100 peer reviewed publications), and speaks nationally and internationally (over 100 invited presentations/lectures/visiting professorships) on diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine, particularly clinical applications of PET/CT in the oncology patient population.
