Dr. Jacob Receives PEAR Award from Baylor Medical Students
Dr. Daron Jacob, PGY-1 preliminary resident in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery, has received the Professional Educator Appreciation and Recognition Awards from Baylor College of Medicine students. The PEAR awards were founded by Baylor students to recognize their instructors and faculty for excellence in teaching, mentorship, and/or for outstanding general assistance and inspiration.
Dr. Jacob is from Houston, Texas and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin. He then received his medical degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. He is currently a preliminary surgery resident in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery.
