At Baylor College of Medicine, our fellowship-trained pediatric and adolescent gynecologists provide expert clinical and surgical care to treat the full spectrum of gynecologic disorders in young patients, from birth to age 21.
Our specialists are trained and experienced in three areas of specialty – obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and surgery in children, primarily through use of minimally invasive techniques. Through evidence-based treatments and compassionate, calming care, we are improving the gynecologic health of children, adolescents and young women with a wide range of conditions, from common conditions such as bleeding disorders affecting menses, chronic conditions such as endometriosis in adolescents and rare, complex congenital anomalies of the female reproductive tract.
As researchers and innovators, our pediatric and adolescent gynecologists continue to develop new strategies and novel devices to meet the unique diagnostic and treatment needs of our youngest patients, improving outcomes and advancing our field. We are dedicated to addressing the multifaceted and unmet needs of our patient population to help girls of all ages live healthier, happier, more confident lives.
