PM&R Pilot Awards

Master
Content

The H. Ben Taub Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Research Committee funds pilot projects proposed by departmental faculty that will advance knowledge and be leveraged into additional extramural funding. The maximum award is $15,000. Pilot projects should be novel and clearly distinct from the PI’s funded research program. Faculty with substantial remaining startup or discretionary funds should explain why these pilot funds are needed. Salary support for the PI is not allowed in the budget. Applications will be evaluated based on the likelihood that these funds will be leveraged into extramural funding as well as standard NIH scientific review criteria.
