Welcome to Pediatric Pathology and thank you for considering our Pediatric Pathology Fellowship!

Pediatric Pathology is a complex specialty spanning developmental, infectious, and neoplastic processes over a wide range of ages and stages of development. Texas Children's Hospital is the largest pediatric hospital in the nation and is consistently ranked among the top 3 pediatric hospital in the nation by the US News Report. Currently, it consists of 5 campuses, 4 of which are in the Houston area (Texas Children’s Main Campus, Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women, Texas Children’s West Campus and Texas Children’s Woodlands Campus) and 1 recently opened campus in North Austin. Our program examines materials from all Texas Children’s Hospital facilities, generating a large volume of routine, complex, transplant, and autopsy specimens.

We interact closely with our clinical colleagues via multidisciplinary conferences and glass slide case reviews sessions. As a result, graduates of our program are well trained in the pathologic diagnosis of pediatric disease as well as clinical and radiographic correlates making them valuable staff pathologists to any practice setting.
