Physicians with exceptional clinical skills who intend to pursue a career in clinical endocrinology will be considered for fellowship positions as well.
Grand Rounds
Endocrine Grand Rounds is a bi-weekly conference organized to increase awareness and implementation of the most current standards of care and guidelines for disorders of the endocrine system. This conference aims to inform the community of endocrinologists of the greater Houston area of the latest endocrine basic and clinical research breakthroughs.
Seminars
The Section of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism hosts monthly seminars to enrich our faculty and trainees.
Endocrinology-Renal Raw Research Seminar
The intent of this seminar is to help investigators receive constructive feedback on their research and begin new collaborations. Investigators present unpublished data, which can range from speculative hypotheses to emerging data from studies in progress. Although this is done in a seminar format, it is not a didactic lecture but an interactive presentation. This seminar is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month in the Endocrinology conference room or via Zoom invitations.
Baylor Diabetes and Immunometabolism Research Seminar
This is a monthly scientific seminar series featuring illuminating lectures by today’s leaders in basic and translational biomedical science from North America. This seminar is via Zoom to pull together our communities of faculty, trainees and lab personnel and promote engagement during this difficult time.
