The Baylor College of Medicine Department of Neurosurgery adjunct faculty stem from MD Anderson Cancer Center, and serve as instructors and mentors in our acclaimed Neurosurgery Residency Program. Baylor College of Medicine offers one of the top neurosurgery residency programs in the country. Our academic relationship with MD Anderson Cancer Center, which serves as one of the five affiliated hospital training sites, contributes notable strength to the program. Residents rotate with faculty and gain experience in the gamut of neuro-oncological diseases including primary and metastatic brain and spine tumors as well as skull-base tumors. Currently, residents rotate at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the PGY 1, 3, 5 and 7 years.
