As the director of the Elkins Pancreas Center at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Fisher coordinates the clinical care for all patients with pancreatic cancer and oversees all basic science and clinical research on pancreatic cancer conducted at the College. Dr. Raymon Grogan has been a practicing endocrine surgeon since 2011. He is a nationally recognized expert in the surgical treatment of thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands. His expertise encompasses all types of operations on these organ systems. He is also a recognized leader in minimally invasive and scarless surgical techniques. As chief of Endocrine Surgery at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, Dr. Grogan coordinates the multidisciplinary care of endocrine surgery patients. Dr. Edward Reece is a practicing, board-certified plastic and hand surgeon who implements innovative solutions to enhance patient encounters. He lectures nationally on technique and technology applied to plastic surgery and technological innovation in health care. He has served as a team leader for patient care at several major hospital systems around the Greater Phoenix area. Currently, he practices Plastic Surgery and Surgery of the Hand at the Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. He serves as the chief of Adult Plastic Surgery in the Michael E. Dr. Suliburk has practiced at Baylor College of Medicine since 2009. He is a nationally regarded expert in the surgical treatment of diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal gland. This includes the surgery of the parathyroid, thyroid nodules, multinodular goiter, Graves' disease, thyroid cancer, and adrenal tumors. Dr. Van Buren is an assistant professor of surgery in the Division of Surgical Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine. He is a board-certified surgeon specializing in surgical oncology and pancreatic disorders. Dr. Van Buren completed his medical school and general surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. During that time period, he spent two years at MD Anderson Cancer Center studying gastrointestinal cancers. He completed his surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. During Dr. Van Buren’s research and clinical fellowships, he was able to expand upon his interest in gastrointestinal surgical oncology and pancreatic disorders. His training had a heavy emphasis on pancreatic malignancies including specialized procedures such as robotic pancreatic surgery. Sebastian Winocour, MD, MSc, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Plastic Surgeon specializing in breast cancer reconstruction and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Winocour completed medical school and General Surgery residency at McGill University. He then completed a second residency in Plastic Surgery at Mayo Clinic. He further refined his skills by pursuing a one-year Microsurgery fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center, training in advanced methods of cancer reconstruction, including DIEP flaps for breast reconstruction. During his fellowship he was granted a prestigious Clinical Specialist appointment at the institution. He was subsequently recruited to join the faculty at Baylor College of Medicine. In his practice, Dr. Winocour uses the latest techniques in reconstruction surgery to help patients achieve their aesthetic goals and restore their emotional well-being.
