You will connect to your Tele-Education Review session using Zoom Web Conferencing Software for video and audio content.

  • The device used to participate in the Tele-Education Review must also have a microphone and video camera available. Most smartphones and tablets and many laptop and desktop computers have suitable capabilities.
  • Users must install the Zoom client application on their computer or mobile device.

System Requirements

You will need to use a desktop or laptop computer, smartphone, or tablet device to participate.  The Zoom App supports Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs and Apple iOS and Android devices.  Your device must have an integrated or attached video camera and microphone.

See detailed system requirements for using Zoom on a desktop or laptop computer.

See requirements for iOS and Android devices.

Network Connectivity Requirements

Teleconferencing requires an active internet connection. The bandwidth used by Zoom will be optimized for the best experience based on your network. It will automatically adjust for 3G, WiFi or Wired environments.

The recommended minimum bandwidth for participants is 600kbps (up/down) for HQ video and 1.2 Mbps (up/down) for HD video.

The amount of data consumed will be determined by the length of the appointment and the connection speed. However, if you participate via a mobile device running in 3G or 4G/LTE mode, the Zoom App will only send a maximum of 1 megabyte per minute of data. If you are connecting from a device with a limited or pay-as-you-go data plan, you may wish to connect to a WiFi network before beginning.
